Other requirements | Detached ADUs may require a Coastal Development Permit if located within the City’s Resource Protection Zone boundary. One ADU and JADU per property is allowed per single family dwelling. A deed restriction called a Certificate of Compliance must be recorded after construction and before occupancy. Must comply with all requirements of the underlying zoning district. No short-term rentals |
